1. Introduction

MMV Solutions (hereinafter referred to as the "Controller") respects the confidentiality of your personal data and is committed to protecting it in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR - EU Regulation 2016/679) and applicable Romanian legislation.

2. Data Controller

MMV Solutions, headquartered in Bucharest, Romania, is the controller of your personal data collected through our online platform.

3. Personal Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Identification data: name, email address, phone number;
  • Billing data: company name, tax ID (CUI), trade registry number, billing address;
  • Authentication data: email address, encrypted password;
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, browsing data;
  • Payment data: securely processed through Stripe (we do not store card data).

4. Purpose of Data Processing

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  • Creating and managing the user account;
  • Providing accounting and consulting services;
  • Processing payments and issuing invoices;
  • Communicating with you regarding purchased services;
  • Complying with legal obligations.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

  • Contract execution – for providing purchased services;
  • Consent – for sending marketing communications;
  • Legal obligation – for compliance with tax and accounting requirements;
  • Legitimate interest – for improving services and platform security.

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access – you can request information about processed data;
  • Right to rectification – you can request correction of inaccurate data;
  • Right to erasure – you can request deletion of data ("right to be forgotten");
  • Right to restriction – you can request limitation of processing;
  • Right to data portability – you can request data transfer;
  • Right to object – you can object to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • Right to lodge a complaint – with the Romanian Data Protection Authority (ANSPDCP).

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures for data protection, including SSL/TLS encryption, access control and regular backups.

9. Newsletter and Marketing Communications

If you have given your consent, we use your e-mail address and name to send you our newsletter (legislative news, information about services, offers). The legal basis is your consent – Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 12 of Romanian Law no. 506/2004 – given by ticking a dedicated, unticked-by-default checkbox when creating your account or from the "My Account" section.

To be able to prove consent, we store the date, time and IP address from which it was given, as well as its source (registration form, account, e-mail link).

Withdrawing consent is possible at any time, free of charge, via the "Unsubscribe" link in the footer of every newsletter, from the "My Account" page or via the Platform's unsubscribe page. Withdrawal takes effect immediately and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it. Messages required to perform the contract (order confirmations, invoices, account or subscription notices, security information) are not marketing communications and will continue to be sent.

Subscription data is kept until consent is withdrawn; proof of consent and withdrawal is retained afterwards for as long as necessary to comply with legal obligations and defend the Controller's rights. Newsletters are sent through the Controller's own e-mail infrastructure and your address is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
